You, O Lord, are my reason for breathing, living, giving
You are the meaning in every thought, word, and deed
Your faithfulness surrounds me, inspires me, renews me

In You, every tomorrow is bright with shining hope
Every storm shall pass, every trouble shall end in time
Your Hand promises peace and joy

A Prayer of Thanksgiving
O God, thank you for taking the time for the speck that is me
A grain of sand in a wide expanse of shore
A blade of grass in an immense meadow
Your eyes know where I am in every moment
You measure my every breath, my every heartbeat
My steps You keep a close watch on
Lest I trip and fall and wound myself
You hold a whole universe and more in Your hands
Yet You keep me still, gently in Your palm
Grasped and clasped, never to let go
I am safe in Your will, Your grace
I am Your very own.
